Once you have decided to adopt one of our kittens and been selected to be his or her new forever home there is a (50% of the total purchase price) non-refundable deposit required to reserve your kitten. The deposit is to secure the Buyer’s intent to purchase the kitten. As well as to insure the kitten being reserved for the named Buyer and will not be sold to any other buyer. The deposit will not be refunded if for any reason of circumstance, the Buyer is unable to or decides not to take the kitten.
If per reason of health issues, the kitten cannot be sold after a financial deposit has been made by the Buyer, the deposit will be applied to the next available kitten of equal value.
Please note: 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS reserves the right to cancel the transaction of purchase if by any form of sound and reliable disclosure the Buyer is reasonably found to be unfit for the purchase of the selected kitten, as well as any future kitten.
When you purchase a kitten from us you will be agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
*The kitten/cat will not be mistreated during its entire lifetime.
*The kitten/cat will have fresh, nutritional food, clean water and a clean litter box always.
*The kitten/cat will reside in the house and receive frequent and loving human interaction.
*The kitten/cat will be provided with a scratching post of some type and plenty of toys.
*The kitten/cat will receive a yearly veterinary examination as well as all preventatives and treatments required to maintain its best possible health and wellbeing.
*The kitten/cat will not be taken outside except for on a leash, or within a completely enclosed cage/pen (meaning; all sides including top).
*The kitten/cat will not be kept in a cage, or in an unsuitable room, or garage as its primary dwelling.
*The kitten/cat will NOT be declawed.
*Buyer is not permitted under any circumstances, to transfer/give possession, sell, or lease the kitten/cat to anyone else, included but not limited to; friend, relative, co-worker, an animal shelter, research facility, laboratory, pet store, or other commercial or non-commercial enterprise, without prior written and documented permission by 6th DAY SAVANNAHS or an appointed representative of 6th DAY SAVANNAHS.
*If the circumstance arise that the Buyer can no longer keep the kitten/cat, 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS will be contacted immediately either for documented written permission to transfer ownership to another member of the family or a close friend, or; as the first option to assist in the placement of the kitten/cat.
*If this kitten/cat is found to be neglected or mistreated, the Buyer will without conditions, surrender said kitten/cat back to 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS ownership/possession or to a representative of 6th DAY SAVANNAHS.
*Buyer agrees to have said kitten spayed or neutered by 6 months of age and will provide 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS with veterinarian signed documentation of said medical procedure.
**Violation of any one of the Terms and Conditions will result in the unconditional surrender of ownership and possession of said kitten/cat back to 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS or an appointed representative by our discretion.
Health Guarantee
* 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS guarantees the kitten to be healthy at the time of sale (to the best of our knowledge) and void of any life-threatening illnesses, infections, parasites, or fleas. ***This guarantee is valid for 7 days from the date of possession.
[If at any time during this period, the kitten is exposed to any ill animals this health guarantee is deemed null and void].
* 6th DAY SAVANNAHS strongly recommends the Buyer to take the kitten to their own veterinarian (at Buyer’s expense) within the first 72 hours of having possession of the kitten for confirmation purposes of the health quality of said kitten.
-If it should so happen, per a licensed and qualified veterinarian diagnosis, the kitten is declared to be ill and confidently confirms the illness was present prior to sale, 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS is to be contacted immediately prior to treatment (except in an emergency). If in an extreme case the kitten should die from a health condition of which the veterinarian determined existed prior to sale, 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS will replace the kitten with the first available kitten of equal quality.
* 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS guarantees against the death of the kitten due to genetic defects for one year from the date of purchase (FeLV, FIV, and FIP are not genetic and are specifically excluded). In the unlikely death of this kitten due to genetic abnormalities 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS will provide a replacement kitten with one of equal quality upon availability as so long as the stated required proof is provided to 6TH DAY SAVANNAHS within 48 hours from the documented death of kitten. Acceptable “required proof” is considered to be a document in the form of a detailed autopsy report and a letter written and signed by a licensed and actively practicing veterinarian on the business letterhead, stating the exact cause of death, the description of the kitten, the kitten’s date of birth, name, sex, color and pattern, as well as the date and time of death.
* Please note; This Health Guarantee will not be honored by 6th DAY SAVANNAHS if ownership of kitten changes.
PAYMENT
Full payment is required prior to pick up of kitten or transport. If the kitten has not been picked up by the agreed upon date or transport has not been arranged, the kitten will be considered to be abandoned. If in the case of such occurrence the transaction of purchase will be cancelled and the deposit will be not be refunded. Although, any payments above and beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded upon cancellation.
We receive payment via cash if in person, otherwise, we also take; debit or credit cards with the transaction being processed through "The Square", with a receipt of the purchase being emailed to you immediately afterwards.
